The Philippine Embassy in The Hague will hold a consular outreach on Saturday, 18 April 2009, at the office of the Commission on Filipino Migrant Workers (CFMW) in Amsterdam.
Filipinos who are near the vicinity of Amsterdam, and who would wish to: (1) renew their Embassy IDs; (2) apply for a Philippine passport, and (3) register as an Overseas Absentee Voter are encouraged to visit the outreach site. Please make sure that you bring the necessary requirements otherwise your application may not be entertained.
To apply for an Embassy ID, please download and fill up the application form available here. The form is also available at the outreach site. Please bring your old ID, two recent ID photos and a copy of your old ID. Approved applications for Embassy IDs will be released on the same day provided it it received before 1:30pm.
To apply for a Philippine Passport, please download and fill-up the application form here. The form is also available at the outreach site. Please be advised to bring your current passport (which will be cancelled), two recent ID photos and a photocopy of your current passport. A new passport costs 50 euros and the mailing charges amount to 7 euros. Please pay by cash at the outreach site. Passport renewals will be received on the day of the Outreach but the new passport will be sent via registered mail to the applicants after three working days.
To register as an Overseas Absentee Voter, please bring your current passport and a photocopy of your passport, and fill up the OAV Registration form which is available at the outreach site. A biometric capture of your photo, fingerprint and signature will be done at the outreach site. Those who have already registered need not do so again.
There are two ways to reach De Wittenstraat 25:
1. From Amsterdam Central Station - Take Bus 22 direction Spaarndammerbuurt, get out at Nasauplein bus halte.
2. From City Center - Tram 3 direction Zoutkeetsgracht, get out at Haarlemmerplein tram halte.
As you walk towards a pink & white building, you will see a side street which is De Wittenstraat. Proceed further until you reach No. 25. |
